The current situation is - personal growth in shifting sands.
I think we all know it’s time to be more of who we are. The changes happening in the world are affecting us all, often in deep ways we might not be aware of on the surface. How we navigate these changes and what kind of person we become in the art project of 2020 depends on our choices. Making good choices requires Awareness.
Thusly, the first and most frequently offered program in the Embodied Creators series is Awareness. This is the foundation of the foundation and what fuels all of our growth as creative beings. Awareness is the doorway to our brave new future selves we are so eager for.
Embodied Creators: Awareness runs September 19 - October 10 and is a fun catalyst for your own creativity with as much depth as you like. We are always amazed at how much growing and healing comes in such a short time.
2020 is a year unlike any other. All of us are faced with a daily choice between love and fear as we navigate a winding path of extraordinary challenges. I believe these challenges can be used as fuel, as catalyst for our own growth and the creation of beauty. It’s important to not only bring our voices, but also make room for the voices of others that are not heard. A beautiful world is a healthy and diverse one that serves all of life rather than simply the most ambitious. Please join us and add your voice.
Today’s writing tea is a 2011 Cha tou sheng yun from Yunnan sourcing in China. Also known as nugget tea, it’s a shou puer style perfect for a chilly rainy day like today and now finding it’s legs with a little age on it. Pop by for a cup, we’re up on the hill.
